Upon powering up, the device lights will alternate between green and blue. When they turn solid blue, use a mobile device or PC to connect to the 'LightMap' WiFi network. A pop-up window will appear allowing you to select your local WiFi network and enter the password.
The Flight Category LEDs correspond to aviation METAR conditions: Green for VFR, Blue for Marginal VFR, Red for IFR, Purple for Low IFR, and White if the data is stale (over 60 minutes old).
Your LightMap display is automatically updated via WiFi to ensure you have the latest features. Simply keep the device connected to the internet to receive updates.
If the status indicator bar turns red, it indicates that the connection to your local network or the Tempest Weather Station has been lost.
